My name is Mike Gertrudes and I live in New York City. I’m a freelance graphic designer and web developer with a very serious headshot. My interests include tech, extrapolating the future, looking at trends, fashion, design, spotting propaganda, analyzing commercials and advertising (see propaganda). I’m big into anything creative, even if it’s not creative in a visual sense- could be creative but on an analytical level- like coding I suppose.
I’m degreed as a Mechanical Engineer, but only three years of my existence have been spent as one. The rest have been slowly but surely determining my spot in this world, developing ideas to further myself and further others- in some way, shape or form. To make a living out the things I used to do as kid, but on an adult scale. Once the pressures of doing what you are “supposed” to do are put aside, sometimes the best stuff can float up to the surface.
